Project: Icons Design for 'VPE' software

Aveva™ develop CAD software for the four major areas in modern process plant design:

  • Engineering design data and schematics
  • 3D design and construction deliverable production
  • Project and materials management
  • Enterprise integration and collaboration

Our Icon designers were required to come up with two different styles for use as 'toolbar' icons and the simplified 'explorer window' icons. The VPE software runs on Microsoft .net technology and so Aveva were keen for their 'toolbar' icons to follow the style set in the Microsoft Office 2003 suite.

Over 120 icons were produced for this project.
